Dress As Bella Swan

Bella may as well be one of the hardest characters to dress up as, because she is a normal human being. You don't want people to not understand what you are dressing up as. So, if you follow these certain guidelines for the character, Bella Swan, then people will be sure to understan that you are dressing as Bella.

There are a few certain instances in which Bella Swan would be most recognizable as a character. The first would be the prom scene. Who would not be able to forget her sliming royal blue dress that was an absolute suprise to her, because it was all Alice's idea. The next would be Bella as a new born vampire, this would probably be the most fun out of all of the Bella choices, you get to look wild! And lastly, Bella as Edward's bride. This would also be quite fun to re-enact the wedding chapters from Breaking Dawn.

The Dress This is perhaps the most important part of the entire costume. If you look at the image on your left, you will see two dresses. Kristen Stewart's blue dress, and the one on the model. The picture of the model is Stephenie Meyer's perception of what the dress would look like.

Whichever type of dress you get for your costume, make sure that it is blue, and that it is a deep v-neck cut. Also, it may have some choppy layers at the bottom, and or some rusing effect around the stomach and chest area. Also make sure that the fabric it light, airy, and sliky. there is a nice silky prom dress here that has all of these Bella-like Effects.

The Shaw and Accessories
The next important thing that is involved in the making of a Bella Swan at the prom costume would be the accessories, and the shaw that she wears, (Forks is cold!) She has an elegant beige knit shaw that is 3/4 sleeves, and has wonderful blue, green, and gold embellishments. These really make the blue dress pop and bring out the best in the true blue color.

The accesories that she wears are also of the most importance if you are going to show up to a party of event that is twilight-related looking like Bella on her prom night! If you look towards the picture on your right, you will see she has a blue, turcoise looking bracelet with a thin siver band. As for the necklace, make sure you wear something small and subtle. Bella has a small beaded ball necklace that has a lovely blueish tint. It complemets the dress well, and doesn't over power it.
